You can reach Friary Wood from Bath on either the B3110 or the A36.
If you come along the A3100, as soon as you come into the village of Hinton Charterhouse, look out for a turning on the left into Branch Road signposted (Warminster). Friary Wood is about 0.5 mile from the petrol station on the right hand side.

If you are travelling along the A36 from Bath to Warminster (& Salisbury), after about five miles you will reach a set of traffic lights (down to your left you will see the Canal Boat/Centre). Carry straight along the A36 for about 3 miles passing the turning on the left for ‘Freshford’ & ‘Sharpstone’ and on the right for ‘Hinton Charterhouse’. Approximately 200 yards further along from the turning to Hinton Charterhouse you will see Friary Wood on the left hand side.

Travelling from the South, head for the A36 to Bath. After the Beckington roundabout, you will pass through the village of Woolverton - carry on towards Bath. Don’t turn off of this road – just a short distance from Woolverton look out for a petrol station on the right and a sign to Iford.  Friary Wood is about 0.5 mile from the petrol station on the right hand side.
